Twinkle Group Students who have not completed all of the Twinkles need to attend at least one Twinkle Group per month. Students learn fun, rhythm games, and practice the basics of the Suzuki method. Students as young as three years may start Suzuki Violin lesson's. Parents interested in signing children under three will need to bring your child to observe other students having a lesson before they will be ready for their first violin lesson. Congratulations to Selena Barron who won third place in the State Fiddle Contest at the Florida Folk Festival this past May. Students who love to camp will have opportunities to go camping with Mrs. Thompson's entourage of parents and students. Next June we will be going to the National Fiddle Contest. We will create a Suzuki violin play-in with other Suzuki teacher's and their students on our way to Weiser, Idaho.

Students who perform with the Campfire Fiddler's will perform at the Autumn Harvest Festival, enter fiddle contests and learn fun fiddle tunes. Students
interested in learning to play fiddle tunes will meet with Mrs. Thompson on Friday's at 7:00 p.m. Please see calendar for dates. There are two Campfire fiddle groups on Friday nights. Students who attend the Pre-Twinkle Group may attend the fiddle group afterwards. This group is for beginners only. Students who are in book 1 and up will need to attend the Campfire fiddle group after the book 1 group on Fridays. Please see the calendar for details. Students in book 1 and up will learn advanced fiddle tunes and need to be able to read music before attending.
